When I was young, my grandmother was suffering from bone cancer in her spine. The only time she wasn’t in pain is when I would massage her back in the evening. She died quickly, and I realized the importance of the relief I had offered her through the short course of her illness. I knew then that massage therapy was more than a ‘luxury’ service.
Positive, healing touch is so important in today’s world. I love bringing my clients comfort, relief and relaxation every day, and knowing that I’m making their lives a little better. I’ve had this innate drive to provide healing touch to people since childhood. Now, I have over 20 years of massage therapy experience and expertise to offer you, plus genuine care for your well-being.
The Next Chapter: Areola Tattooing
For nine years, I worked at Helen G. Nassif Community Cancer Center in Cedar Rapids, providing massage therapy to people with cancer. I saw an unfulfilled need among people who had mastectomies as part of their treatment.
Missing areolas after mastectomy or breast reconstruction surgery can be psychologically devastating, especially in addition to the trauma of fighting cancer. That’s when I discovered the art of 3D areola tattooing.
I provided massage therapy throughout the course of my clients’ cancer treatments, and now I can be a part of the next chapter — offering closure on a difficult time, and helping them step with confidence into their lives post-treatment, feeling restored and whole.
I now offer hyper-realistic 3D areola tattooing in addition to therapeutic massage services. I look forward to helping you on your journey of wholeness, wellness and healing.
